Sven Vanneste, PhD

Prof. dr. Sven Vanneste is one of the leading researchers in the field of auditory neuroscience, tinnitus, neuro-electrophysiological imaging and brain stimulation.

He is particularly interested in studying neurological disorders and developing new neuromodulation treatments.

By conducting research into common neurophysiological mechanisms that group pathologies, Prof. dr. Sven Vanneste understands how the brain is involved in specific disorders.

He focuses primarily on research into disorders of the brain that can lead to a better understanding of brain function in dyslexia, aphasia, agnosia, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, cognitive disorders, obsessive copmulsive disorders, depression and tinnitus.

Dr. Sven Vanneste is a professor at Trinity College Dulbin, Ireland, the University of Texas at Dallas, USA and is an honorary professor at the University of Otago, New Zealand.

He is a co-founder of BRAI3N.
